TWO people have appeared in court after being charged with the murder of Gary Dean, who was discovered in a wooded area near his home last year.
Scott James Dawson, 41, of Allotts Court, Birdwell, and Carol Dawson, 71, of Stonewood Grove, Hoyland, appeared before Sheffield Crown Court on Monday after they were charged with the murder of Gary Dean last Friday.
They entered no plea and have been remanded in custody.
Gary, 48, was found on September 6 last year with significant injuries in a wooded area behind Moorend Lane, Silkstone Common, close to the Trans Pennine Trail.
