MOST couples celebrate when they reach their diamond wedding anniversary.
But for Joyce, 90, and Bob Hawes, 94, they have an even bigger reason - as this week it was their platinum celebration.
The couple, who were married 70 years on Wednesday, still live together at their home on Bourne Court, Staincross.
Only son Bob says both his parents, who are originally from Kent, were involved in the Royal Navy.
