A MOTORCYCLIST who assaulted two police officers is wanted for questioning.
The incident occurred last Friday in Pall Mall, in the town centre, when a man riding a burgundy Honda Varadero motorcycle, registration YG5, was stopped by police.
The man punched an officer in the face before deliberately riding at another, hitting him and causing injuries to his leg and arm.
The motorcyclist, who sped off down Harborough Hill, was later spotted failing to stop for officers in Royston.
He was wearing a dark padded jacket and black tracksuit bottoms.
