LOVELY Jubbly - a Barnsley businessman has copied Del Boy’s iconic yellow three-wheeler so customers know where to find him.
Andrew Stewart, managing director of the Italian Granite Company on Carlton Industrial Estate, bought the car without knowing what he was going to do with it.
He then had a lightbulb moment, and decided to deck it out Only Fools and Horses style and place it at the end of the Industry Road so people knew where his business was.
Andrew, 37, said: “I bid on the car on Saturday and by Sunday I’d won it, and I just thought ‘what am I going to do with it?’
“I had the idea of doing it up for the company, because a lot of people can’t find us. But it’s there on the corner at Carlton Industrial Estate and people can see it.
“It’s exactly the same, it just says ‘Italian Granite Company Independent Traders.’”
Andrew uses the car for work and says wherever he goes, people look and some even stop to take photos.
“People stop in car parks to look at the car and when I go shopping people take photos at the side of it.
“I know it’s a bit cheesy, but I’m also bidding on another one and I’m going to do the Ghostbusters car.”
