A RUINED door and a baying mob of youths was just ‘another day in paradise’ for Parkway cinema staff according to their fed-up boss.

The Eldon Street picture house found itself the victim of yet more antisocial behaviour on Sunday night when a man managed to shatter the glass of the cinema’s front door after running straight into it as he fled a gang of about 12 youths who were chasing him.

The incident comes a month after cinema boss Rob Younger told the Chronicle he was considering calling it a day unless menacing antisocial behaviour near the bus station is brought under control.

Rob is fed up of the daily yobbish antics outside the transport interchange on an evening where youths congregate and brawls regularly break out, often spilling onto the road.
