MEET Blue, the Husky cross who was about to be put to sleep when Barnsley Animal Rescue Charity stepped in to save her.
Blue had been picked up by dog wardens and was facing the end when no-one came forward to claim her after seven days.
However BARC decided to save her and is now looking for a home for the 18-month-old bitch.
Manager Kerry Flood says Blue is a friendly girl who gets on well with other dogs.
