PLANS to improve the Dorothy Hyman Stadium sports complex in Cudworth have been revealed.
The facility, which is run by Barnsley Premier Leisure, is seeking planning permission from Barnsley Council to refurbish its existing artificial grass pitch, extend the playing area, replace fencing and floodlights and install new site furniture.
A public consultation is now underway and people wishing to register comments about the proposals have been encouraged to have their say on the council’s website before Tuesday’s cut-off.
