TWO years ago Tom Wilkinson went for a bit of a walk - well quite a long one really.
Tom and his mate walked more than 130 miles from Barnsley to Scarborough, via York and Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors.
Having started off with the aim of raising £500, the intrepid duo actually raised more than £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Now Tom, 23, is back in training and, alongside his pal Joe Hunter, is aiming to walk even further.
Tom, a music teacher from Oaks Farm Close, Darton, has decided on a bigger challenge - walking 150 miles along the South West coastal path from Plymouth to Land’s End in five days.
