POLICE are investigating how a man suffered life threatening injuries when he was struck by a cyclist.
The 37-year-old pedestrian is being treated in Barnsley Hospital after sustaining the injuries in the collision on Monday at 6.05pm at Barnsley Road, Cudworth.
The cyclist, a 20-year-old man, was not injured and yesterday police said they were still trying to find out why the victim suffered such serious injuries.
Officers are keen to hear from witnesses, call 101 quoting incident 901 of September 8.
