THE ULTIMATE school trip is within reach of pupils at Goldthorpe Primary.

The school is one of five from the Leeds-Bradford region which has earned a shortlisted spot to win a trip Sol Katmandu Park and resort in Majorca with Jet2holidays.

They are reliant on the help of the general public to vote for them through a public vote on Jet2’s social media channels.

Goldthorpe won by creating a poem which promoted the resort, which was selected by celebrity judge, actor Anthony Quinlan.

If Goldthorpe wins, they will be jetting off to Spain from April 20-22.

Voting closes at 6pm on March 16.
