READY, set, go!

A group of Barnsley men will this morning set off on the trip of a lifetime - driving to Monaco in an old banger to raise money for charity.

And after suffering a heart attack two weeks ago, Mark Thompson was devastated at the prospect of having to pull out.

But having got back on track, he has now joined his son Matthew, 17, and friends, Paul and Samuel Bentley, 48 and 18, both of Daleswood Drive, Worsbrough, and Andrew Sagar, 47, of Wood Walk, Wombwell, as they undertake the Monte Carlo or Bust challenge in a BMW 525TDS which has 250,000 miles on the clock and cost them £125.
