BRITAIN'S Got Talent will be in Barnsley tomorrow holding auditions for fame-hungry locals wanting a shot at stardom.

Producers of the ITV show are urging budding singers, dancers or comedians to enter the competition by taking part in auditions at Barnsley College's Old Mill Lane campus tomorrow (Tuesday November 29) between 1pm and 6pm.

One of the first to step up in front of the talent scouts for the next series of Britain's Got Talent airing in 2017 will be a nine-piece dance group from Barnsley College.

Sam Wilson, programme manager for music, media and performing arts at, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our students and facilities here at the college.

"There are not many colleges in the country that can say they have offered their students such an opportunity. We are so proud that we have such talent at the college and can't wait to see what the producers think."
