A BARNSLEY wool shop owners is braving freezing lakes to train for a charity relay swim across the English Channel in August.
Shelby Donoghue, of Top Wools in the Arcade, is hoping to raise £10,000 for the Aspire charity, which supports people with spinal injuries.
Shelby will be one of six open water swimmers to tackle the swim - to donate, visit www.justgiving.com/shelby-donoghue.
